A Little Town + An Anagram
Oh, let’s say it was about 2008. Mara Mote (that’s me!) was on her way from Indianapolis, IN to Cincinnati, OH to visit her dad (hi, Dad!). About halfway through her journey, she passed through the little town of Metamora, Indiana. And those letters sounded familiar. Using the right side of her brain while the left side was busy driving, Mara realized that “metamora” was an anagram for “Mara Mote”. And that’s the day the company name was poured in concrete + written in a diary. Twelve years later, the combination of a considerable wealth of experience in television production + a global pandemic finally got us to the true establishment of MetaMora Productions. Thank you for joining us on this very long road trip.
From a first-person perspective, I have always loved the thrill of live events + media. Working in Los Angeles for nearly 10 years, I picked up some useful hacks, some life lessons + realized that, above all else, I had a passion for providing positive experiences; for coworkers, for the audience, for talent, and for those often overlooked moments where a little bit of pep + respect can make somebody’s day.
That is what MetaMora Productions is all about: Connecting with you, your business, your event, your brand… and adding some pep. As the Founder + CEO of MetaMora Productions, I can one-man-band it and seamlessly integrate into your team, but I love working with good humans + bringing those good humans along with me should your project or event need.
